Mujeres - L.A.
Some sunshine in our lives is always welcome so let’s cover a band from Barcelona, Spain. Mujeres is lo-fi punk band that makes short, fresh and addictive songs. Biggest influences are Jay Reatard, Jacuzzi Boys, Dead Ghosts and the Black Lips. ‘L.A.’ is a song from their self-titled debut album, which was released in May 2010.

An Introduction to… Brother
A band that is expected to be big in 2011 is Brother. These guys from Slough (UK) don’t want to be put in the Britpop-box and created their own genre: Gritpop, which is corny but neat.
Their single ‘Darling Buds of May’ is available on iTunes and will be released physically on February 28th through Chess Club Records.
